Amber Gruber, DO

Amber Gruber, DO

Dr. Gruber is board certified in both Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and has been practicing since 2010.  She has a passion for teaching an Osteopathic approach to primary care and has lectured both nationally and locally where she serves as a Faculty member at the Corewell Health East Beaumont Troy Family Medicine Residency program.  She has worked with a wide range of patients from newborns to the elderly and has several patient populations which are near and dear to her heart.

Breast Cancer patients: Dr. Gruber is a breast cancer survivor and has made it a priority to educate the oncology teams about the benefit of treating a cancer patient throughout their journey, especially in the post-operative period.

Military Veterans and First Responders: Dr. Gruber is an Army wife who has lectured on the specific healthcare needs of military veterans.  She is dedicated to serving veteran and first responders who have selflessly put their bodies at risk for the safety of others.  (If you are in this population and we do not accept your insurance, please call the office for a specialized pricing plan so you may get the care you deserve.)

Pregnant Women and Infants:  Dr. Gruber is a busy working mom who has a commitment to women’s health and treating women who have pain conditions related to pregnancy and the post-partum period.  It is also a passion of hers to provide infants with a “Welcome to the World” treatment, as the birthing process is sometimes the most trauma a body will endure in a lifetime.  Treatment should be considered in children who have had a prolonged NICU stay, flattened or misshapen head, torticollis (kinked neck), colic, poor latch/feeding issues, or gross motor delay, among other conditions.

Athletes: Dr. Gruber has worked sideline medicine for Troy Athens high school athletes and is dedicated to getting any age athlete back into the game that they enjoy.  She works closely with local physical therapists as needed to collaborate throughout the entire recovery process. Movement with purpose is the key to longevity!

Dr. Gruber is committed to keeping abreast of the latest treatment modalities.  She has attended continuing education all over the country to improve her skill set and has treated hundreds of patients of all ages and stages which makes her uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive Osteopathic care.
